The beautiful Wildflowers

As I reflected on the verse from John 1:1—’In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God’—I was reminded of a letter I received on my birthday after my mother passed away, which brought me comfort in a way that still resonates today.

In today’s society, letter writing has largely been replaced by cards, flowers, and gifts. However, letters possess a unique ability to convey deeper meanings and emotions, often leaving a lasting impact that goes far beyond material items.

The letter was from an acquaintance. We sang in the church youth choir but had little contact outside of that.

She wrote:
My dear friend,
I can’t sleep tonight; all I can think about is a girl shrouded in deep sadness. I don’t even know you, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts.
I promise you, in the Lord, your sorrow won’t last forever. You will grow stronger and wiser from the obstacles you face today, tomorrow, and in the future—if you allow it. I will pray for you.

Her words helped during some particularly difficult moments. No matter how many tears I’ve shed or how deep my struggles ran, I held onto her wisdom and always found my way back. Each challenge made me stronger and wiser, shaping who I am today.

Years later, I learned that my precious friend is a songwriter from the Heavenly Melody Choir, who has composed countless songs and shared her words with the world. God granted her a special talent for understanding and empathizing with others.

Here’s the song she composed many years ago:

“The beautiful wildflowers wear their clothes.
The sky bird never hurries through life.
Loving Heavenly Father watches over us each day,
He cares for the world, preparing us for eternal life.

He already knows all our needs. If your heart is troubled, He’ll help you find peace.
Loving Heavenly Father watches over us each day;
He is Almighty. Trust in Him, and we are truly blessed.”

What a beautiful and comforting song it remains. Thank you, my angel friend.
